Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has criticised U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“Have you been watching the news lately? What do you think of our candidates for the presidency of the United States of America? What do you think of New York’s finest, Donald Trump?”

“Holiday” is the most popular political song of Green Day. Armstrong drew on some of Trump’s racist comments to preach tolerance.


“No racism in this fucking room. There is no white supremacy in this fucking room. We are coming together tonight in New Jersey to call bullshit on all the fucking politicians.

He then changed a lyric in “Holiday’”, from “Pulverise the Eiffel Towers” to “Pulverise the Trump Towers“. You can watch it below.
