Popular metal band Slipknot released their latest album “.5: The Gray Chapter” in October 21, 2014, which album in memory of the dead bass guitarist Paul Gray. He had passed away in 2010.

The band’s percussionist Shawn “Clown” Craham spoke in an interview with Rolling Stone. Clown hit to January for Slipknot’s new album writing process. He said that they will start to song writing with guitarist Jim Root.


While Slipknot will begin the new album process early next year, vocalist Corey Taylor is scheduled to release a new album with Stone Sour and tour in support of that release.

Slipknot’s latest album’s lead single, “The Negative One”, was nominated for the 2014 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance at the 57th Grammy Awards. Additionally, the album was nominated for the Best Rock Album and the song Custer was nominated for Best Metal Performance at the 58th Grammy Awards.
