In yesterday, it’s being reported that ’80s death metal band Incubus has issued a cease-and-desist order to Metallica for allegedly plagiarizing “Moth Into Flame”” from their song “Hunger for Power”.

Incubus has since changed their name to Opprobrium in 1999 after learning that there was another rock band with copyright under the same name.

Today, a statement was made by Incubus (Opprobrium) and it was reported that there was no copyright claim. Here’s the statement:
