Chad Smith, drummer of Red Hot Chili Peppers, spoke in an interview with “The Strombo Show” and revealed his thoughts on Donald Trump. He said:

I’m obviously not a Donald Trump supporter, but through our lovely democratic system, we elected him. But that doesn’t mean we just have to go, ‘Okay, do whatever you want. Yeah, sure.’

Trump is nuts, he’s crazy, and it’s obscene, some of the shit that he’s trying to get away with. So we just have to stay on it. It’s really galvanized the sort of liberal part… I mean, where the fuck were you guys back in November?

It’s sad, to me, that someone in that position of power and being the leader of the free world, and you see Donald Trump… It’s just embarrassing and it’s kind of sad and scary, because he’s not a politician; he’s a reality star, a businessman. And I don’t know that he knows exactly what he’s got himself into. But he does have Steve Bannon — the crazy Breitbart white supremacist, basically the de facto president — telling him, ‘I think you should do this,’ and, ‘I think you should do that.’ So it’s a wild time we live in.”
