The Alrosa Villa nightclub in Columbus, Ohio, where Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott was murdered 15 years ago, is on sale for $1,295,000.

On the night of December 8, 2004, a 25-years-old former sailor named Nathan Gale jumped onstage at the nightclub and opened fire on the band members as well as the crowd. The murder killed Dimebag and three other people before being killed by the police officer named James D. Niggemeyer.

According to reliable sources, the killer seemed to be consciously targeting Abbott. It was alleged that he held a grudge against Abbott and his brother, drummer Vinnie Paul.

The hard rock and metal community devastated after Dimebag’s death. He was known for his hospitality, friendship and party spirit, his strong personality and innovation, and was recognized as a legend.

In a 2014 interview with ‘Talk Is Jericho,’ Vinnie Paul talked about his brother’s unexpected passing. He said:

“It was a really hardcore, tragic event, and the guy [Nathan Gale] wanted to kill me too. And somehow or another, I was lucky enough to escape that, and I’m still here, and I will do everything and anything I can to carry on the legacy and the tradition that my brother always had.”
