The legendary band AC/DC announced yet another merchandise as a part of the celebration of their ‘Back In Black’ album’s 40th anniversary while the fans were desperately waiting for the new album.
Last month, AC/DC celebrated the 40th anniversary of their 1980 album ‘Back In Black‘ by launching new merchandise including t-shirts and hoodies. On the front part of the t-shirts and hoodies, it states AC/DC Back In Black 1980 – 40 – 2020,’ while on the back the playlist of the album is written.
Recently, the official Instagram account of AC/DC announced the new material added to the ‘Back In Black’ album’s special merchandise and invited fans to take a look at them on their website.
Here’s how AC/DC shared the news of their recent material on the caption:
“Back in Black 40th Anniversary merch and apparel now available! [link in bio]⚡️”
Although the band continued adding new material, such as pint glasses and jigsaw puzzles which would be released on September 4th, the AC/DC fans desperately looking for a new album.
As you might recall, a few months ago, Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider revealed on Twitter that the new AC/DC album was on its way containing material recorded before the death of the band’s co-founder and guitarist Malcolm Young. Dee claimed that the four surviving members got together and created some material while Malcolm was alive.
According to Dee Snider, his nephew Stevie Young replaced Malcolm and AC/DC had been working on a new album together for a while. Considering Dee’s claims, AC/DC fans might be getting the much-awaited new album after all.
