AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd, sold his house in Otumoetai, Tauranga for $4 million NZD. It’s approximately $2.71 million USD.
Phil Rudd’s house was the most viewed house on Trade Me in 2018, which is one of the biggest auction & classifieds site all over the world.
As you see above, Rudd’s house is ‘very’ big. It has six-bedrooms, it’s walled, secured and almost 590 square-meter.
Phil Rudd bought that house about nine years ago and was living in the Bay of Plenty since early 1980s. Rudd said he will stay in that area but wanted to downsize.
Oliver Road Estate Agents owner Cameron Macneil said:
“It was a significant listing, and the floor area was one of the largest among waterfront residences to become available in recent years.
Obviously Phil uses them as one large home, but they’re quite cleverly designed to offer privacy and space to the occupiers of each. We’re expecting interest in them both individually and collectively from different purchasers.”
