Former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley spoke in an interview with SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation” and revealed what he expecting from KISS and their farewell tour.
He said that ‘I do get an emergency phone call and KISS wants me to join the tour and take over for Tommy [Thayer], that I can get out of the dates that I have booked for the summer.’.

I told my agent to build into my contract, in the event I do get an emergency phone call and KISS wants me to join the tour and take over for Tommy [Thayer], that I can get out of the dates that I have booked for the summer.
So we’ll see what happens. You know me — I’m the kind of guy that says ‘never say never.’ But at this juncture, I have no plans on performing on the upcoming KISS tour, and I haven’t gotten any phone calls or had any correspondence. So that’s where it stands at this juncture.”

Back in November, KISS frontman Paul Stanley talked about the reunion and said:
“This is a celebration of everything KISS. This is a celebration of the history of the band, not any individual lineup, but at the same time, it would be crazy for us to be so short-sighted to not want to involve other members in the band.
So hopefully, there will be appearances by other people who’ve been in this band. If they weren’t there, it’s not because we don’t want them there. This really is an all-inclusive celebration.”
