The famous singer who is also the current vocalist of Queen, Adam Lambert, recently posted a tweet on his official Twitter account about the terrible incident that took place in America and shared his thoughts.

The news of a black man getting killed by police officers has started chaos and uprising in America. A video of four Minneapolis officers recently surfaced. In the video, one of the police officers is kneeling down on a handcuffed black man’s throat who was unarmed.

Even though George Floyd shouted several times that he couldn’t breathe, the police officers didn’t listen to him and kept kneeling down until he grew motionless. Floyd was taken to hospital however, he died, at the age of 46.

The police officers who were involved in the incident were fired. Floyd’s death started an uprising in America and rekindled the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement. Protests have been taking place in the country where demonstrators are clashing with police, looting stores and setting fires.

Adam Lambert also talked about the incident on his Twitter account and wrote:

“I know there ARE good police officers out there, but they are in the best position to demand change within the police force.”

He emphasized that bad police officers should be taken out of the system:

“Please help get rid of the bad cops. Weed them out. #PoliceBrutalityPandemic”

“Yes.. it’s the bad cops that make the good one’s jobs harder. We all need to take a stand and clean up the system.

This has gone on for waaaay too long. It has to stop now. It’s all of our jobs to make the future better for everyone. So let’s start doing that.”
