A few days ago, when Billboard published the 100 moments that defined the decade in music, Adam Lambert introduced as a gay male artist.

Adam Lambert also reacted to the report after he learned that he became the first openly gay male artist to hit no.1 on the Billboard chart.

“A Big highlight of my decade in the music business! I was shocked to learn I was the first out male artist to achieve this in the US. I’m so thrilled at how far we have come and hopeful to see even more progress in the roaring 20s.”
