As we are getting closer to the summer, the bands and musicians are releasing the latest updates about their tours and shows. Recently, Aerosmith announced the fate of their 50th Anniversary Fenway show.

Although the biggest counties started to vaccinate the citizens from the start of this year, it seems like Aerosmith didn’t want to put anybody at risk and decided to postpone their tour once again.

Aerosmith announced that the show is going to be held in 2022, but they didn’t reveal the details and schedule yet. Furthermore, the band called out to the community and explained why they made this decision.

Aerosmith pointed out that they know what it means to wait longer for the event and they also mentioned the danger of the coronavirus by saying that this is the right move to ensure that everybody could enjoy the show.

Here is the official announcement from Aerosmith:

“We wanted to let you know that our 50th Anniversary Fenway show is moving to Thursday, September 8, 2022.

While we know that means you have to wait a bit longer, we feel confident this is the right move in order to ensure we give you all the show you deserve for everyone who has held onto their ticket to see this show.

All tickets will be valid for the new dates – Check your emails for more details. We can’t wait to rock with you all.”
