Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry wanted to remember his late father, Anthony Joseph, on Veterans Day by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account and mourned after his beloved father’s death.

In the post, Joe mentioned that his father passed away when he was only 28 years old and said that there is not a single day goes by without thinking about him, especially on Veterans Day.

Furthermore, Joe said that he is missing Anthony so much on every single day and showed his love for his father. Additionally, Joe stated that he is so proud to be his son and proved that he was a great father, as well as a great soldier.

While mourning the death of his father and remembering his legacy, Joe also explained why he shared this post after Veterans Day. He revealed that they were bucked down by a hurricane and that’s why he couldn’t share this post on Veterans Day.

Here is what Joe Perry said:

We were buckled down due to the hurricane yesterday but still wanted to get this post up. My Dad Anthony Joseph (Tony) Not a day goes by when I do not think about you, Dad especially on Veterans Day.

You passed away when I was only 28 years old. I miss you terribly and I love you Dad. I’m proud to be your son, Joe.”
