Aerosmith and Hollywood Vampires guitarist, Joe Perry, recently posted a photo of himself and Larry King on his Instagram account and mourned the passing of the legendary TV host while saying that it was an honor to meet him.

Joe Perry is known for his successful music career and he reached world-wide fame as the founding member, lead guitarist, and vocalist of Aerosmith. He also started his solo band The Joe Perry Project back in 1979 and is an active member and co-founder of the All-star supergroup Hollywood Vampires.

Joe Perry also ranked Number 84 in Rolling Stone’s ‘The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time’ list. Being such a famous guitarist in the rock scene obviously means that Perry had the chance to meet numerous influential figures such as one of the most famous TV and radio show hosts, Larry King.

Larry King is without a doubt, one of the most famous TV hosts of all time, and his fans were heartbroken to find out that he was hospitalized in late December 2020, upon testing positive for COVID19. Unfortunately, Larry King could not keep up the fight with this deadly virus and on January 23, it was announced that he passed away.

Millions mourned Larry King’s passing, and Joe Perry also expressed his sadness with his recent Instagram post. In the caption of his post, Perry said that it was a great honor to meet and be interviewed by Larry King. He added that ‘it’s rare to meet someone who is as real on camera as off‘ and sent his condolences to his loving family.
