Aerosmith’s legendary frontman Steven Tyler’s daughter and famous social media activist, Mia Tyler, penned a long letter about George Floyd and made the fans move to tears once again.

Mia took to her Instagram account to share what she feels as a mother, after the heartwrenching death of George Floyd and took the matter deeply by saying that no one born racists and hate.

While penning that touching letter, Mia also unearthed the little-known childhood photo of George with his lovely mother and that post got almost 10K likes in a short time.

Here is the long and meaningful letter of Mia Tyler:

“I don’t really know what this is all about anymore. Is it about George Floyd? Is it a race war? Is it about bad cops? Is it about burning down and looting our cities? I honestly can’t tell you what it feels like to have any other skin than my own.

I know having tattoos from my head to my toes instantly makes people judge me. But that’s a far far far cry from what African Americans go through. What I do understand, is being a mother. And honestly, when I saw the video of this man being murdered, I sobbed at him crying out for his Mama.”

She continued:

“I’m sad for the violence happening around us right now but I understand the frustration. And I will stand with my human brothers and sisters and help as much as I can. In these moments, we Mamas need to do our jobs as Mamas and teach our children how to be decent and kind and AWARE. We’re not born racists. We’re not born with hate. We are born a blank slate and it’s up to us to teach our kids not to be fucking ignorant. Not everyone gets that.

But I’m asking all the Mothers of the world to do your part and raise your children right. I know this is deeper than what I’m saying, but it’s the part I know I can at least help my Son with. This picture hit me hard. Hold your babies tight and teach them how to love and be loved.”
