One of the founding members of Aerosmith and the guitarist of the band, Joe Perry, paid his tribute to his long-time friend and iconic musician, Charlie Daniels, by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account.
Charlie was a talented singer and songwriter who was known for his ‘The Devil Went Down to Georgia’ song from the Million Mile Reflections album. Yesterday, he passed away due to hemorrhagic stroke at the age of 83.
Joe was devastated after hearing this news and wanted to mourn his death by silence. He didn’t write much things in the post instead of praying for Charlie’s soul, but we can all understand that he is struggling with the unexpected death of his friend.
Here is what Joe Perry captioned:
“R.I.P. Charlie Daniels.”
