Steven Tyler, who is the iconic singer of Aerosmith, has shared a new Instagram post on his page and made a special announcement about the women who are abused by someone else.

According to the statement, with Steven’s direction, Janie’s Fund is awarding $500,000 in the month of May to help young women in the Young Villages Life Set program.

Here’s the entire statement:

“The COVID-19 pandemic has taken over our lives. Daily, we see the effects it’s having on everyone – but we aren’t seeing the things happening behind the closed doors of homes across America. Our commitment to supporting abused and neglected girls and young women has never been more steadfast and urgent!

That’s why, with Steven’s direction, Janie’s Fund is awarding $500,000 in the month of May to help young women in the Young Villages Life Set program. For each of the five Fridays in May, we’re announcing on IG Live $100,000 of lifesaving support in select communities across America – AND we will have five special guests to help!

More details coming soon… but get ready as we prepare to help make the change for hundreds of girls who are survivors of trauma – and give them love, support, and care they need.”
