One of the most famous rock and metal photographers of the community, and also the guy who is working with legendary bands like Metallica and Aerosmith for a long time, Ross Halfin, has posted a couple of new photos today and recalled an interesting memory.

As he always unearthed lesser-known stories of the concerts, this time, Ross shared how Aerosmith legend Steven Tyler and Thin Lizzy have managed to perform such a cold that he can not even stand.

Ross admitted that it was so cold that he could only stand for five songs before he decided to leave the area and called the experience as ‘shooting in Antarctica.’ After sharing the post, almost 6K people liked the latest frames of Ross and one of them was Rage Against The Machine star Tom Morello.

Here is the caption of the post he has shared:

“43 years ago today – Reading Festival, England 1977. Thin Lizzy was headlining with special guests Aerosmith. It was a REAL mud bath, damp and cold, a lot like today.

I remember Thin Lizzy opened the set with Soldier of Fortune and it was so cold I only stayed for about 5 songs, it felt like shooting in Antarctica and I do know what I’m talking about because I have been there.”
