The daughter of Aerosmith’s legendary frontman Steven Tyler, Mia Tyler has shared an adorable picture of her son Axton Joseph wearing the new face shields produced by Youth Villages to raise awareness about abuse towards girls.

Mia has remarked a significant issue about raising our sons by the latest action taken by Steven Tyler’s Janie’s Fund in collaboration with Youth Villages. Mia’s son Axton posed with the new face shields of the foundation, which have a message saying ‘Shielding Girls From Abuse.’

Posting the photo of his son, Mia Tyler supported Steven’s act and said the project they have done together with Youth Villages is so beyond important, not only for the girls they help but also for the boys the mothers are raising. Mia revealed that as a mother she tries to teach her son how to grow up and be a respectful man so no girl is abused or neglected by him.

Calling all the moms to remind the need of raising their boys better, Mia said she is proud of the work Steven Tyler‘s fund did. Steven created Janie’s Fund in partnership with the Youth Villages to help the girls who have suffered the trauma of abuse or neglect.

Tyler first gave voice to this cause with his hit ‘Janie’s Got a Gun,’ and his establishment of the fund ensures that these vulnerable girls will have an enduring voice for years to come.

Janie’s Fund has two important goals: to bring much-needed awareness to the issue of abuse and neglect of children and to generate financial support to ensure that girls receive the most effective support available to help them overcome the trauma and pain of abuse.

Here is what Mia Tyler said in her recent Instagram post:

“We received our Janie’s Fund face shields today. The work we do with Youth Villages is so beyond important, not only for the girls we help but also for the boys we are raising. Being a boy mom I get to teach this little guy how to grow up and be a respectful man.

We need to raise our boys better, moms. We need to raise them right so no girl is abused or neglected. I’m proud of the work Janie’s Fund has done. And he loves his superhero shield!
