The legendary guitarist of Pink Floyd, David Gilmour shared the exciting news on his Instagram account that he is back to make some new music after five long years.

With his new song, ‘Yes, I Have Ghosts‘, released lately, Gilmour officially returned to the music industry now. He announced with a post on Instagram that he was ready to celebrate the new song with Von Trapped Family broadcast.

He tagged his wife Polly Samson in the post, whom he makes the broadcasts together, and wrote this on the caption of the post:

“We’ve decided to celebrate tomorrow’s worldwide release of my new song, Yes, I Have Ghosts, with another Von Trapped Family broadcast TONIGHT (Thursday).

Send us your questions below and then join us on my Facebook page at 7.30pm UK time.”

As Gilmour celebrated the song with his family, he kind of composed it together with them. The song came along with Samson’s recent book, ‘A Theatre for Dreamers‘. Gilmour was inspired by the characters of the novel when creating his song and he also contributed to the original music of ‘A Theatre for Dreamers’ audiobook version.
