Iconic rocker Alice Cooper gave an interview to SiriusXM’s ‘Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk’. He revealed that he is working on two new albums that are entirely different from his previous works.

Alice Cooper has released 21 solo albums and 7 studio albums with his band throughout his music career as a prolific musician. The 73-year-old rocker’s latest album dropped on February 26, 2021, with the title ‘Detroit Stories.’ This was his twenty-first solo album, and he also promoted the album with a fall tour.

In a recent interview with SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk, Cooper excited the fans by revealing that he has been working on two studio albums. He stated that one of these albums is completely written, and he will begin recording the tracks soon.

Following that, the rocker said that the other is his future plan, but he is currently writing it as well. According to what Cooper said, these albums will be pretty different from his other works. However, he promised the fans that they will be ‘pure Alice Cooper rock and roll albums.’

Both of Alice Cooper’s albums will be produced by his longtime producer Bob Ezrin. Moreover, it is expected that the first one of the albums will be released later in 2022. ‘Detroit Stories’ was also recorded with Ezrin, and it has been around a year since fans got new material from Cooper.

As reported by Blabbermouth, Alice Cooper told Eddie Trunk the following during the show:

“I’m working on two albums right now, actually — two studio albums. And all I can say is that one is written — totally written — and we’ll be doing bed tracks for that one pretty soon.

The other one is just a touch in the future, but that’s being written right now too. They’re two entirely different kinds of albums, but they’re Alice Cooper pure rock and roll albums. The two albums will really be hard rock albums.”

During the interview, Alice Cooper also revealed that he likes to work on his albums while being on a tour. So, it seems like the musician does not want to waste any time without producing something new.
