Alice Cooper, the iconic musician with a career spans over five decades, shared a post on his official Instagram page revealing his opinion about the scariest character out of two iconic ones, Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees.

Freddy Krueger is a fictional character in the ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ film series and he first appeared in the 1984 movie as the spirit of a serial killer who uses a gloved hand with razors to kill his victims in their dreams. The character has become one of the most iconic horror movie characters with his burned, disfigured face, dirty green striped sweater, and metal clawed brown leather glove on his right hand.

And then there is Jason Voorhees, the main character from the ‘Friday the 13th’ series first appeared in the 1980 movie as the young son of camp cook turned killer, Mrs. Voorhees. The character stalks and kills others and acts as a psychological threat to the protagonist and Voorhees became iconic specifically with his mask and being a vicious killer.

The two Halloween must-have characters have both been represented in other various media, including novels, video games, comic books, and even together in a crossover film named Freddy vs. Jason.

Since there always has been a controversy about the scariest out of Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees, who can bring up the subject and share their opinion better than the spooky Alice Cooper himself.

Alice Cooper recently shared a post on his official Instagram page and discussed the two iconic fictional characters and revealed his opinions about the scariest. Cooper stated that Freddy always had a line that made him special before doing something to someone while Jason was a killer without emotions. Apparently, when it comes to being the scariest, Jason Voorhees is the winner according to Cooper.

Here is what Cooper said:

“Ok. Let’s hear it. Freddy Krueger or Jason Voorhees?

Freddy was the stand-up comedian. He always had a great line before he would do somebody or after he would do somebody.

The thing that made Jason scary was that there was zero emotion. He was just a killing machine.”
