Alice Cooper guitarist Nita Strauss shared a video from their latest live performance to show how she got hit by the singer’s cane during the show via her official Instagram account.

In her recent post, Nita Strauss recalled the time when she first joined Alice Cooper’s band. She shared what Cooper told her about touring with him around the world back in 2014. While Alice was explaining her that she will be get paid for playing guitar and traveling around the world, he apparently warned her about the possibility of getting stitches.

According to Nita’s recent Instagram post, during one of their lates shows, Cooper got excited and swung his cane which hit the ground and got broken into several pieces. Unfortunately, one of the pieces hit Nita in the head while she was simply playing the guitar.

Furthermore, Nita continued playing the guitar like nothing happened as a true professional and earned the respect of the community. In the caption of the post, the guitarist pointed out that there was no real harm done during the unfortunate accident.

Nita Strauss captioned in the post:

“When I joined the Alice Cooper band in 2014, he gave me the same promise he gives all the touring band members: ‘You’re going to see the world, you’re going to get paid, and you’re going to get stitches.’

He left out ‘oh and you may get brained by flying broken cane pieces from the first song.’ All in a day’s work on an Alice Cooper tour, no real harm done.”
