During the recent interview with Metal Hammer, Alice Cooper revealed the worst drug experience of his life and mentioned the time he thought that everybody was dead beside him.
In the conversation, Alice recalled the time he was in the part in Detroit and explained how it felt like to wake up after taking lots of drugs. He stated that it was just like the Jonestown tragedy and said that there were forty bodies around him.
At that moment, Alice thought that everybody was dead except him, and he walked out for two miles in the middle of winter to clear his head. After the moment he returned home, fortunately for him, the people were starting to wake up.
“What’s been your worst experience on drugs?”
Alice Cooper replied:
“I was at a party in Detroit when THC was a big deal and everybody took these capsules of really uncut, strong stuff, so everyone passed out. I woke up at 3 AM and there were 40 bodies lying around me, it looked like Jonestown.
I thought everybody was dead except me! It was the middle of winter, so I walked out in the snow for about two miles with just a shirt on to get myself back to being human again. By the time I got back, people were just starting to wake up. It was really terrifying!”
