Alice Cooper’s touring guitarist Nita Strauss recently posted a photo on her Instagram account and announced that she’s one of the ten guitarists from all over the world that was chosen by Noteable – a new platform on Spotify – to celebrate International Guitar Month this April.
As you know, Nita Strauss is one of the most influential and well-known guitarists of our era. In 2011, Strauss had ranked No.1 on Guitar World’s ‘10 Female Guitar Players You Should Know‘ list, and her fame increased even more when she started touring with Alice Cooper in 2014. In addition to all that, Nita Strauss is also the first female signature artist of Ibanez Guitar, and her dream guitar is now sold in three different versions.
In her recent Instagram post, the 34 years old guitarist announced that she feels very happy and honored to be featured ‘as part of International Guitar Month on Noteable from Spotify.’ As you may have heard, Noteable is a new platform created by Spotify, which is described as a ‘new global home for songwriters, producers, and publishers’ where they can learn about Spotify’s opportunities and collaborate with each other.
For this year’s International Guitar Month, Noteable decided to share the stories of ten guitarists from all around the world, one of which is Nita Strauss. In the caption of her post, Nita said that she felt very happy to share her ‘guitar journey‘ and encouraged her fans to check it out.
Here’s what Nita Strauss said in the caption of her recent Instagram post:
“I’m very honored to be featured as part of International Guitar Month on Noteable from Spotify!! Swipe up in my story to read a little about my guitar journey (and also, check out Ibanez JIVA as the cover photo!) Thank you so much to Allison Hagendorf and all at Spotify for taking this time to spotlight guitar in the music we all love so much!”
