Jerry Cantrell, the founder and lead guitarist of Alice In Chains, has announced the grand tribute event organized by SiriusXM in honor of Eddie Van Halen on his latest Instagram post while unveiling that he will be the guest DJ.

As you may remember, the iconic musician Jerry Cantrell has commemorated the legendary guitarist and a great friend of him, Eddie Van Halen, on Instagram not long ago.

Cantrell has posted a picture of Van Halen’s landmark guitar and thanked him for the music and inspiration, the hotel and backstage jams, and the adventures and laughs.

As you know, the inventor and guitar icon Eddie Van Halen passed away on October 6, 2020, at the age of 65 by deeply saddening the whole music industry. He lost his longtime battle with cancer when the cells had moved to his brain, along with other organs.

After this unexpected loss, Eddie Van Halen’s friends, family, fans, and all the people who were inspired by him have been mourned. Also, one of the largest audio entertainment companies in the world, SiriusXM, has arranged a huge tribute event for him.

Cantrell has pointed out the event by stating that he’ll be the guest DJ, taking over SiriusXM Eddie Van Halen Tribute Channel. He invited his followers to tune in to the channel this week.

Eddie Van Halen Tribute Channel is a special pop-up channel dedicated to the legend’s life and legacy. Listeners can tune in to the channel, which has taken over SiriusXM’s Deep Tracks, to hear Van Halen’s greatest hits, as well as exclusive tributes from hosts and artists.

Here’s what Jerry Cantrell said in his recent Instagram post:

“Tune in to my Guest DJ Takeover on the SiriusXM Eddie Van Halen Tribute Channel this week. Link in my story.
