The official Instagram account of the band Alice In Chains posted a picture taken when the band members were recording their sixth studio album ‘Rainier Fog‘ and the legend Jimi Hendrix‘s poster was watching over them from the wall behind.

Belong to the same record label, Legacy Recordings, the band and the musical genius Jimi Hendrix, sadly, only were photographed together in this way during the recording sessions of Alice In Chains. In the picture, the founder of the band, Jerry Cantrell, and the co-lead vocalist William DuVall are seen among the posters of both Jimi Hendrix and KISS.

Nevertheless, the band seemed to be contented with working under the same record label with Hendrix, having him symbolically in the studio they made music, and having a chance to pay their respect to the legend.

Here is what the band said on the Instagram post:

“Jimi watching over us during our #RainierFog studio sessions.”
