The Canadian pop-punk singer, Avril Lavigne, recently posted a series of photos and videos of herself and John Feldmann blowing off some steam after the wrap-up of her new album and asked her fans whether she should start working on another album.

Avril Lavigne, better known as the Queen of Pop Punk, is one of the most successful musicians of the 21st century. She has sold over 35 million albums and 25 million singles all over the world, and she has a massive and devoted fan base. In 2014, Lavigne scared her fans when she contracted Lyme disease and was bedridden for five months.

After recovering from this painful disease, Avril said that creating her sixth studio album ‘Head Above Water‘ which was released in 2018, was what helped her the most while she was battling this challenging disease. After almost three years of absence, Avril returned to the rock scene with her collaboration with rapper Mod Sun. Their song ‘Flames‘ was released on January 22, and it was well-received by both fans and critics.

Since then, fans have been following Avril’s updates on her upcoming album as she has been hard at work in the studio. In late 2020, it was announced that legendary producer John Feldmann will be producing Avril’s seventh album. In an interview, Feldmann said that Lavigne is going back to her pop-punk roots and guaranteed that her new album is going to be a great success.

With her recent Instagram post, Avril announced that they have now wrapped up her new album and expressed her happiness for having worked with John Feldmann. She went on to say that she’s highly content with this album and that she loves it deeply. It seems like getting back in the studio really motivated Avril who asked her fans whether she should start working on another one.

Here’s what Avril Lavigne said in the caption of her recent Instagram post:

“As we wrap up my new album we let off a little steam… John Feldmann, youre a true punk in and outta the studio. I fuckin luv u. And I love this album so much🥰 Should we keep going? Make another one? 🤘🏻”
