One of the most lovely stars of the 21st century and also 8M followed Instagram phenomenon, Avril Lavigne, has posted a couple of new Instagram Stories to take fans’ attention to an important issue.
As you might already know, Avril herself is struggling with Lyme disease for almost 5 years. She has first opened on ABC News in 2015 and been talking to warn people about the dangers of the complications of it.
Avril took to her Instagram page today and stated the dangers of Lyme and shared her concern about its not being a main issue of the world as COVID-19.
Here is what she wrote on the story she sent:
“Lyme Disease is a global pandemic but not a global priority.
Read the story. So many people have a similar story of going back-and-forth between doctors being told they’re fine and they just become more infected.”
And here is some part of Avril’s latest interview about her fight with it:
“I had accepted that I was dying. And I felt in that moment like I was underwater and drowning, and I was trying to come up to gasp for air. And literally under my breath, I was like, ‘God, help me keep my head above the water.'”
