The lead vocalist and leader of Guns N’ Roses, Axl Rose, returned to Twitter after several months of silence, just to celebrate his bandmate and friends birthday.

As you know, Axl Rose is one of the most famous rockstars of all time and he’s known to be Guns N’ Roses’ sole constant member since the band’s formation in 1985. He’s not only the band’s lead vocalist but also its lyricist and leader.

The 59 years old rockstar is not that active on his social media accounts but often enjoys using his Instagram account to reminisce the great times he has had with Guns N’ Roses and to celebrate the birthday of his bandmates and other rockstars. However, he rarely uses his Twitter account so it was a big deal when he posted a tweet on his Twitter account.

In his recent tweet, Axl Rose celebrated his bandmate and friend Duff McKagan’s birthday virtually as he cannot be with him physically during the pandemic. Although Duff McKagan left the band in 1997 and officially rejoined in 2016, this apparently didnt affect the friendship between the two rockstars.

Here’s what Axl Rose said in his recent tweet:

“Happy Birthday Duff!”
