According to The Jakarta Post, Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen presented Indonesia President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo with a signed box set of Metallica’s “Master Of Puppets” during a bilateral meeting held Tuesday in the Southeast Asia Nation.
As far as we know from the news, Jokowi is actually a huge metalhead, and counts himself a fan of Metallica, Megadeth and Lamb of God. Jokowi said:
“Prime Minister Rasmussen understands my favorite music”
Danish drummer of Metallica, Lars Ulrich has shared an Instagram post about that topic and said:
“This is way cool… I signed an MOP box set for Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen to give to Indonesian President Joko Widodo who is well known as a huge fan of rock music and came to see us in Jakarta in ‘13… music really does connect people!!!”
