During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has revealed the critical details about the upcoming album and excited old-school fans of the band.
Billie Joe Armstrong stated that he want to re-record one of the greatest albums that Green Day has ever made, Warning.
The date of the 13th album of the band, ‘Father Of All Motherfuckers’ is already set. It will be releasing on 7th February. So the Warning album could be re-recording after this album.
Here is what Billie Joe Armstrong said:
“After ‘Time of Your Life,’ I started getting into playing more acoustic guitar, and I really wanted to have more for Warning.”
Billie Joe Armstrong added:
“It was right when Pro Tools started happening. I want to go back and just do everything more live, because I think ‘Minority’ live is a lot better than it came out on the album. But that’s just one of those things that you think about too much”
Billie about the Minority song:
“Sort of about declaring that you’re stepping out of the line, you’re not part of the sheep, and trying to find your own individualism.”
