The verified and official Instagram account of Alice in Chains has posted a recent photo and announced an exciting project that some of the most talented rock stars of the industry will play in honor of Alice in Chains and the event will be available on famous streaming platforms.

While the event will include performances from many legends like Metallica, Korn, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, and Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan, the special guests of the event will be Eddie Vedder, Tom Morello, and Sammy Hagar. The event will take place at 6 PM Pacific / 9 PM Eastern and fans will be able to watch it through Twitch and Amazon Prime.

According to the official announcement, every single penny of the benefit will be sent to the Museum Of Pop Culture Foundation which is a nonprofit museum featuring music, science fiction, fantasy, horror as well as video games. The museum was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in 2000 as the Experience Music Project.
