The former frontman of the London-based punk rock band Generation X, Billy Idol has praised the upcoming seventh studio album of the pop star, Miley Cyrus, which includes surprising collaborations with Idol and The Runaways founder, Joan Jett.
The British singer and actor who first showed up on the music industry in the 70s, Billy Idol, has been promoting his brand new collaboration with Cyrus on Twitter for a while now. After supporting Miley by retweeting the updates related to her new studio album called, ‘Plastic Hearts,’ Idol has taken Twitter to express his feelings about working with her.
As sharing the album’s tracklist, Billy Idol said he enjoyed making the song, ‘Night Crawling,’ with Miley Cyrus. He invited his followers to celebrate the upcoming project of the former Disney star and highly talented singer.
In addition to Billy Idol’s name, the founder of The Runaways and the frontwoman of Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Joan Jett‘s name in the list drew attention. Cyrus announced in her tweet revealing the tracklist of the album that the title of her song with Jett is ‘Bad Karma.’
‘Plastic Hearts’ by Miley Cyrus is expected to be released on November 27, 2020, by RCA Records. It is Cyrus’ first full-length album since ‘Younger Now,’ and first body of work since ‘She Is Coming.’
The album was originally titled ‘She Is Miley Cyrus‘ and was planned to be released in 2019; however, Cyrus’ divorce from Liam Hemsworth, vocal cord surgery, and the COVID-19 pandemic posed significant delays.
It features production by Louis Bell, the Monsters & Strangerz, Happy Perez, Mark Ronson, Andrew Watt, and Andrew Wyatt. Guest vocals are provided by Billy Idol, Joan Jett, Dua Lipa, and Stevie Nicks.
