Black Sabbath lead guitarist Tony Iommi shared a post on his official Twitter page announcing an auction in order to help finish a new NHS surgery and fans are confused since no further explanations came after the announcement and now it’s not clear if Iommi is the one who will have a surgery or it’s the subject of the charity auction.
The NHS stands for the National Health Service and it refers to the government-funded medical and health care services that everyone living in the UK can use without being asked to pay the full cost of the service.
These services include visiting a doctor or a nurse at a doctor’s surgery, getting help and treatment at a hospital if you are unwell or injured, seeing a midwife if you are pregnant, and more.
Tony Iommi recently shared a post on his official Twitter page announcing an auction consist of Black Sabbath items in order to support a new NHS surgery. The post was most likely shared by Iommi’s manager, however, there haven’t been any further explanations if the surgery is about Iommi’s health or the auction stands for charity.
Fans have been sharing posts expressing their concern since the tweet was posted and they are dying to know whether Tony Iommi is the one to go through surgery or not.
Here’s what was stated in the tweet shared by Iommi’s official Twitter page:
“Tony is going to be auctioning some more items to help finish a new NHS surgery. We appreciate everyone’s support, but please only bid if you are genuinely going to buy it. Many thanks.”
Here is what one of his fans asked in the comment section:
“Wait, is Tony having surgery?”
