Iconic guitarist and mastermind of Black Sabbath, Tony Iommi has shared a touching message to Dave Mustaine after his tragic cancer diagnosis.
As you know, Dave Mustaine has revealed an official announcement on Megadeth’s website, and confirmed that he has been diagnosed with throat cancer.
Today, Tony Iommi posted a rare photo of himself with Dave Mustaine, and wrote:
“So sorry to hear about @DaveMustaine’s diagnosis. Get well soon buddy, we’re thinking of you and the many good times we’ve had on tour together. Working is the best recovery.”

“I’ve been diagnosed with throat cancer. It’s clearly something to be respected and faced head on – but I’ve faced obstacles before. I’m working closely with my doctors, and we’ve mapped out a treatment plan which they feel has a 90% success rate. Treatment has already begun.
