Former Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley canceled his Planet Rockstock show after testing positive for COVID-19.

Blaze Bayley is a singer known as Wolfsbane’s lead singer and Iron Maiden’s temporary frontman during Bruce Dickinson’s absence between 1994 and 1999. However, he also pursues a career as a solo artist, and he was scheduled to perform at Planet Rockstock.

The festival Planet Rockstock 2021 will take place at Trecco Bay Holiday Park in South Wales between Friday, November 12 and Sunday, November 14. The festival’s tickets were quickly sold-out, and a great number of artists will get up on the stage to perform at the festival.

However, Blaze Bayley had to cancel his appearance at the festival after testing positive for coronavirus. As is known, Bayley would play on the main stage on November 13. Nonetheless, after getting the disheartening news, the singer announced the cancelation via a Facebook post.

In the Facebook post, Bayley said that he regrets announcing that he pulled out of his performance at Planet Rocktsock. Following that, his official page stated that he needs to isolate for a minimum of 10 days. As it seems, the singer is quite upset since the fans were looking forward to this event.

Blaze Bayley’s Facebook post read:

“Blaze pulls out of Planet Rockstock due to Covid-19.

We sincerely regret to announce that Blaze has been forced to pull out of his scheduled performance at Planet Rockstock (Trecco Bay, November 13 2021) as he has Covid-19 & must now isolate for a minimum of 10 days.

We’re so very sorry to all fans that expected to see Blaze at this event & we really hope we’re able to re-arrange the performance for Planet Rockstock 2022. Please join us in wishing Blaze a full & fast recovery. Stay safe & well.”

Unfortunately, Blaze Bailey grabbed a seat among the other musicians who had to postpone their tours or projects after testing positive for COVID-19. Since the fans were looking forward to the musician’s performance, it is no surprise that they feel quite disappointed now.
