Brian May, the lead guitarist of the one and only Queen, shared a post on his official Instagram page about ‘Live Around The World’ album, with Queen and their current lead singer, Adam Lambert, and talked about limited edition cassettes which will be out soon.

Queen + Adam Lambert called off their summer tour due to pandemic, but they have decided to release their first live album and concert film, Queen + Adam Live Around The World. It consists of concerts throughout various tours of the past six years and will come out on October 2 on CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, and vinyl.

Brian May recently shared a post on his official Instagram page about the upcoming album, and he added another option for the fans which is quite an ancient technology. May announced that the album will also be available in the form of cassettes, and they are ready for pre-order.

Here is what is written about the cassettes on Queen’s official site:

“Since their first appearance together in 2009 when Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor appeared as guests on the finale of the eighth season of American Idol on which Adam Lambert was a contestant, the combination of Queen + Adam Lambert has gone from strength to strength becoming one of the world’s biggest drawing touring bands.

Their most recent tour of Oceania saw them selling out to massive audiences, with a single show at Sydney’s ANZ stadium drawing a record crowd of over 60,000. To date, the band has played to a worldwide audience approaching 4 million.

The set presents a compilation of concert highlights captured the world over personally selected by Taylor, May, and Lambert from over 200 shows they have performed with several featured here becoming available for the very first time.”

Fans loved the idea of this vintage choice and many stated that they are waiting on the release. Also, some fans said they living their childhood and old memories again.
