Queen guitarist Brian May made a new announcement about the band by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account.
Back in 1981, Queen decided to release a complication album, named Greatest Hits, that contains their most-loved songs so far such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, We Will Rock You, and many more.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ‘Greatest Hits’ album, and the remaining band members decided to honor this special day by releasing a limited edition of this album.
While Brian was saying that this re-released limited edition album is released in all the formats and platforms that he never knew existed, he also hoped that the fans could still catch the magic of their legendary songs.
Here is the official announcement from Brian May:
“Well, here come again! In all sorts of formats and platforms, I never knew existed! Well, hopefully, the magic is still there! Here’s the blurb!
Out now! Queen’s ‘Greatest Hits’ 40th-anniversary Edition! Queen Greatest Hits Has been Re-Released In Limited Edition Formats Marking Queen’s 50th Anniversary Year And 40 Years Since Original Release.”
