Queen’s legendary guitarist, Brian May, took his official Instagram account to mourn the devastating death of Australian musical theatre/rock tenor who worked with Queen lots of times, Michael Falzon, at the age of 48.

As you might already know, Michael was the Galileo of the ‘We Will Rock You’ show in Edinburgh and took lots of roles of the Queen’s theatres. In 2019, he was diagnosed with germ cell cancer and died because of this ruthless disease yesterday.

Brian wrote in the caption that Michael was their magnificent Aussie Galileo and paid his tribute by praising his character and talent. Brian stated that the death of Michael was devastated because he was too young to leave this world.

While Brian saying that it was shocking to hear this sad news, he prayed for Michael’s soul and showed his support to Michael’s wife and family.

Here is what Brian May wrote:

“Honoring Michael Falzon – our magnificent Aussie Galileo. His death at only 48 is so deeply sad, and a shock to the entire We Will Rock You Family.

Michael’s talents and wit and charm are irreplaceable. Our sincerest condolences to his wife and family. RIP.”
