Queen lead guitarist Brian May shared a post on his official Instagram page revealing his cameo appearance in the video of Space Rocks’ cover of Queen’s most iconic song ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’
Space Rocks created a parody video of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ which covered the people from the European Space Agency, who spend their lunch breaks and evenings working on the video when they’re not exploring the Earth and our Solar System. They recently shared the special video on their official Youtube page.
One thing which did not go unnoticed by the fans was that Queen lead guitarist Brian May actually appeared in that video. The fans are thrilled to see May in a space parody version of their legendary song.
Brian May shared a clip from that video on his official Instagram page and revealed his cameo appearance to Queen fans. May, with an intended pun, praised the performance by referring to it as ‘rocket science.’ Apparently, European Space Agency project scientist Matt Taylor convinced May to join them for the special cover.
Here is what Brian May stated in the caption of his post:
“Official!! This performance is Rocket Science! ESA rocket scientists do Bo Rhap!! Check Space Rocks Official for the full video – the link is in their Bio. Yes! My dear pal Matt Taylor – Genius boss of the Rosetta mission – forced me to make a cameo appearance!”
