Queen’s iconic guitarist Brian May posted several pictures of one of his fans’ artwork on Instagram and send a message to those who devoted themselves to the art of all kinds and reminded them that they are not alone.

Brian May enjoys using his social media accounts, mostly his Instagram account, to inform his fans about his upcoming projects as a musician, scientist, and entrepreneur, raise awareness on social matters, support charities, and share his views about music.

However, this time, it seems like he wanted to take a moment to appreciate the unending love of his fans who have been supporting his career for years. In his recent Instagram post, Brian May shared fan-art creations sent to him by one of his followers.

In the caption of his post, May praised the talent of his fan named Marilyn Chaparro who he stated ‘makes magic.’ Brian sent an emotional message to the artists who feel unnoticed by the crowds and reminded them that people just have to believe in the shadows that the light will come.

Here’s what Brian May stated in the caption of his post:

“Swipe swipe swipe! Artistic delight! I thought it was time for a special nod to an artist who has made me smile again and again this year. Marilyn Chaparro makes magic – and this little gallery is only the tip of the iceberg. This is a thank you from me for honoring me in making me the focus of some of your lovely work.

I’m pretty sure Marilyn will deliver prints – so if any of you are inspired by her art, go visit her IG feed. And – just a word in all your ears out there – you who devote yourselves to the art of all kinds – don’t ever feel that it’s a competition – there is a place for us all – if we just keep doing it for the love of it.

If you’re feeling you’re no good today, or that you’re not noticed, just remember that we all get these feelings. Me included, for sure. We just have to believe in the shadows that the light will come. And you can believe I personally appreciate all of you who create with love for me. More soon! Bri”
