Korn guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch has updated the fans on Jonathan Davis‘ current health status on his Instagram and revealed the singer is still battling with Covid’s after-effects.
As you might know, Korn was touring across 17 countries around the world and had 45 more concerts to go. Their well-anticipated tour kicked off on August 5 in West Palm Beach, Florida, however, they made an announcement to postpone the tour. According to the band’s announcement, the postponement was due to a confirmed coronavirus case within the Korn camp.
Although Korn did not reveal who got the coronavirus in their statement, it turned out that person was Jonathan Davis. According to the band, the successful musician has since been resting and recovering. Moreover, they also stated that the upcoming shows will be rescheduled for further dates.
Recently, the band’s guitarist Brian Welch talked about the current health status of Jonathan Davis on his Instagram. He said that Davis is still struggling with the after-effects of coronavirus, and he is physically and mentally weak right now. Moreover, Welch asked the fans to send any type of love and energy to the singer. The guitarist also noted that Davis needs the fans more than ever.
In his Instagram post, Brian Welch said:
“Jonathan Davis is still struggling with the COVID after-effects. He’s physically weak and having a mental battle. Any type of love, light, and energy you can throw at him, prayers, all of it. We have shows coming up, so all of you guys check the dates of whatever show you are going to. Throw him some love and energy, man. He needs you more than ever.”
