Soundgarden’s late singer Chris Cornell’s daughter and also a talented vocalist, Toni Cornell, revealed one of her favorite covers of her father by sharing a new post on her official Instagram account.

As you may know, the iconic Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell was found dead in a hotel room on May 18, 2017. Chris had been suffering from depression for a while before his death at the age of 52. His death later revealed as suicide by hanging himself.

On December 11, 2020, Chris Cornell’s fifth studio album, ‘No One Sings Like You Anymore, Vol. 1’ released without any prior announcement. The album features 10 cover songs that Cornell recorded back in 2016.

Recently on Instagram, Chris’ daughter Toni Cornell shared a small clip of her father’s ‘Watching The Wheel‘ cover, which is originally sung by John Lennon. Toni stated that this song is one of her favorite covers of her father and in this way, she showed how impressed she is by Chris’ unique voice.

Furthermore, Toni stated that this album means so much to her and she loves all the memories this new album brought back to life. Cornell also expressed her love for her father once again.
