Audioslave and Soundgarden’s late frontman Chris Cornell‘s wife Vicky posted some photos from the last Halloween they spent as a family while Chris was still alive with a touching message.
As you might recall, the iconic Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell was found dead in a hotel room on May 18, 2017, after his performance at the Fox theatre. Chris had been suffering from depression for a while before his death at the age of 52. His death later revealed as suicide by hanging himself.
Recently on Instagram, Vicky Cornell posted some old family photos of her late husband and their lovely kids from the last Halloween they got to spend together before Chris’ tragic death. As you will see in the pictures below, Chris was having a great time taking his kids out for trick or treating.
On the caption of her post, Vicky shared an emotional quote reminding the most amazing things in life were not exactly things but the people we loved and the happy memories we had with them.
Here’s what Vicky Cornell stated in the caption:
“’The most beautiful things in life are not things. They’re people, places, memories, and pictures. They’re feelings and moments, and smiles and laughter.”’
