The official and verified social media accounts of Black Stone Cherry made a common announcement to reveal that they had to cancel two of their new concerts after having devastating news from a family member.
You might remember that American hard rock band Black Stone Cherry released their seventh studio album named ‘The Human Condition’ in the last months of 2020 and they were on tour to promote their 46 minutes long album for the last couple of months. Unfortunately, they had to cancel some of their upcoming shows after hearing some bad news from a family member.
According to the official announcement of the band, they had the terrible news that the lead vocalist Chris Robertson has lost his father while they were on the bus to perform at Barnato. The band announced that they had to cancel two of their shows: July 1st in Nebraska and July 3rd at the Mid Summer Music Fest in Minnesota. The bando also asked their fans to respect and understand their decision not to perform anytime soon.
Here is the official statement:
“To our fans in Nebraska and Minnesota, unfortunately, we will not be playing at Barnato tonight and the Mid Summer Music Fest Saturday. We apologize for not putting on the show y’all were excited for.
We turned the bus around after learning of a death in the family very late last night. As you all know, it’s family first. We ask that you understand and respect this decision.
Please pray and send as many positive vibes to the Robertson family during this time. We hope and plan to make it up to you all as soon as we can.”
