Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor took his official Instagram account to share a new post and announced that he joined the Metallica Blacklist project.
Metallica announced yesterday that they will be collaborating with over fifty artist to cover the legendary self-titled album, known as Black Album, and will be releasing in September.
Furthermore, Corey mentioned that all the profits from his cover from The Metallica Blacklist will go to Metallica’s non-profit organization, All Within My Hands, as well as Tobie’s Small Dog Rescue.
Additionally, Corey revealed in the post that he will be covering the third song of the album, Holier than Thou, and thrilled his followers. However, he didn’t reveal any details about this upcoming song.
