Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor unveiled the canceled tour dates for his upcoming solo shows by sharing a new post on his official Twitter account.
Slipknot and Stone Sour singer went his own path during the coronavirus pandemic and released his debut recording last year, ‘CMFT.’ Following the album, Corey announced earlier this year that he will be touring with his solo band.
‘CMFTour’ is also featuring the dancing band of his wife Alicia Taylor, Cherry Bombs, and it was meant to start in spring 2021. Unfortunately, the tour got postponed through this month.
Right before the tour starts tomorrow, Corey announced that they won’t be participating in the Sandy, Utah at Rio Tinto Stadium on August 7 due to unforeseen circumstances of the virus. Even though only one of the dates got canceled, the fans were worried that Corey would postpone or cancel other dates. However, Corey mentioned that the rest of the tour will continue as scheduled and relieved the community.
Corey Taylor announced:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are canceling our upcoming show in Sandy, Utah at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday, August 7th.
The remainder of the August tour will go on as scheduled. We appreciate your understanding.”
