The original version of another song from the EP ‘Kids Against the Monsters’ was released almost four months ago. On the same day the EP came out, a new version of the song featuring Slipknot’s Corey Taylor was released.

Hyro the Hero stated that it was a fantastic experience to work with Corey Taylor in a recent interview. As Hero explained, he was impressed by Taylor’s singing when he first sang the song. He also added that ‘Kids Against the Monsters’ talks about the problems of all generations searching for peace. According to Hero, one can feel positive when listening to this song.

According to Loudwire, Hyro The Hero said in his words:

Working with Corey Taylor was incredible. When I first heard him sing the words of the chorus we created, I got chills. ‘Kids Against the Monsters’ is about the problems we deal with from generation to generation. This generation is trying to find peace and fix past mistakes. When you press play and listen to my music, I want you to feel the positivity and love.”

Corey Taylor expressed in the conversation that as he was a fan of Hyro the Hero, it was an excellent experience to collaborate with him. Taylor indicated that he was so eager to sing this song. As Taylor mentioned, anybody who listens to this song knows that they are not alone with these feelings in the world.

Regarding the song, Taylor explained:

“It’s always nice to collaborate with up-and-coming talent, especially when you’re a genuine fan. I was stoked to hop on this song with Hyro the Hero. He embodies what a true artist is meant to do, make you feel something. This song is a great reminder that we’re stronger together when facing our demons.”
