Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor spoke in a recent interview with ‘Metal Hammer,’ and he talked about the future of the band with responding to claims that the band would end their music career.

While discussing the future of the Slipknot, Corey Taylor explained how the band has almost ended their career due to Slipknot members’ various injuries and following surgeries.

Here’s what Corey Taylor said:

“I mean, it’s crossed my mind as the years have gone on. t’s gotten harder to do this. You think about when the end is. No one thought we’d be doing it 20 years later. If I just couldn’t do it anymore, I’d just stop, but that doesn’t mean that the band would stop.”

Also, Slipknot guitarist Jim Root has shared his theory about his optimal method of ending the metal group. He said:

“We’ll just vanish and never come back. Wondering if Slipknot is even still a thing. One day we will just be gone. That’s how I’d like it. No final tour, no announcement, no big drama.”
