Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor joined Doug Bradley’s Down To Hell for an interview during which he revealed that he is thinking about writing another book, but it’s not going to be political.

Apart from his successful music career as the frontman of Slipknot, Corey Taylor is also an author who has five New York Times bestsellers. The books he has released are titled ‘House Of Gold & Bones,’ ‘The Seven Deadly Sins,’ ‘You Are Making Me Hate You,’ ‘A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Heaven,’ and ‘America 51.’

Taylor’s ‘America 51: A Probe into the Realities That Are Hiding Inside the Greatest Country in the World’ is a book about the meaning of being an American in an unstable world. As an outspoken person, Taylor describes how America sees itself and the rotting values within the country while touching upon everything, including politics.

In a recent interview with Doug Bradley’s Down To Hell, Corey Taylor revealed that writing ‘America 51’ was a challenging process for him, and due to that reason, he didn’t want to write any book for five years. He then revealed that he is currently eager to write another book again.

However, Taylor claimed this new book will be different from its predecessor, the ‘America 51.’ The musician had things to say while writing ‘America 51,’ but he doesn’t even care about politics now. So, Taylor revealed that his new book wouldn’t be about politics, but it will be a fun book to read.

During the conversation, Corey Taylor said:

“I kind of put a pause on the books about five years ago because ‘America 51’ almost killed me. It was such a gnarly, gnarly experience. But I’m actually getting the itch to do another one again. And not just another one but, like, another fun book.

He then continued:

“When I wrote ‘America 51’, it was definitely something I needed to say. And I was, like, ‘You know what? I’m never doing another politics book ever again. I don’t even care.'”
